The Treistman Fine Arts Center for New Media

The Pottery Project
Materials Science and Engineering researchers are collaborating with Arizona State Museum to understand the materials used in ancient artifacts so they can preserve and protect the world's largest collection of whole-vessel ceramics.

   

Huygens Probe
The UA's Descent Imager-Spectral Radiometer went to work soon after the Huygens Probe began floating toward Titan's surface, slowed by a sequence of parachutes. The DISR analyzed Saturn's largest moon's atmosphere while photographing the surface.


Solving Problems that Know No Borders
Mexican graduate students take what they've learned at The University of Arizona back home to bolster their own burgeoning science and agriculture industries.
