Faculty, staff and students of the Tejido Group have made their mark on communities from
the British West Indies to Summerhaven, a small village atop Mount Lemmon near Tucson.

The technology center encourages artists' collaborations, both among themselves and with researchers in
other disciplines such as Engineering and Social and Behavioral Sciences.

Materials Science and Engineering researchers are collaborating with Arizona State Museum to understand the
materials used in ancient artifacts so they can preserve and protect the world's largest collection of whole-vessel ceramics.

The UA's Descent Imager-Spectral Radiometer went to work soon after the Huygens Probe began floating toward Titan's surface, slowed by a sequence of
parachutes. The DISR analyzed Saturn's largest moon's atmosphere while photographing the surface.

Mexican graduate students take what they've learned at The University of Arizona back home to bolster their own burgeoning science and agriculture industries.
