Integrated Laboratory Inspection Project
The University of Arizona is committed to providing a safe setting for all employees and students utilizing laboratory spaces. To accomplish this goal, The Office for the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) proudly announces the establishment of The Integrated Laboratory Inspection Project (ILIP). The ILIP is a pilot program established to obtain information on environmental conditions in labs utilizing biological and chemical agents. The UofA Biosafety Department and the Chemical Safety Department will partner with staff and administrators from 12 test sites to review current procedures, policies and protocols being used. This baseline information will aid in the development of best practices of laboratory safety and regulatory compliance at the UofA.
